Len Carella started working with ceramics in 1998 at the Parsons School of Design in New York, midway through a 20-year career as a designer of footwear and leather goods. Now based in his San Francisco studio, he produces small batch, handmade functional objects in stoneware and porcelain, often incorporating leather, braided thread, and other artisanal textile elements, creating modern ceramic ware unlike any other.

This product is made by the human hand. Variations in color, form, and size will occur. No two products will be exactly alike, giving you a lasting one-of-a-kind object to treasure for years to come. This is the nature of the handmade which we consider beautiful.
