Where is Sojourn located?
Our brick-and-mortar shop is located in the heart of Sawyer, Michigan — just off Red Arrow Highway in Southwest Michigan. We welcome visitors year-round to browse our ever-changing selection of home goods, art, books, and gifts.
Do you sell online?
Yes. Our full online shop mirrors the experience of visiting our store in Sawyer. You can browse and purchase our curated collection of ceramics, candles, books, pantry goods, tableware, textiles, and vintage pieces directly from our website. We ship throughout the United States.

How often do you update your selection?
Our inventory changes seasonally and often — we source in small quantities and collaborate with independent makers, artists, and vintage collectors. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind or produced in limited runs, so we recommend checking back often or subscribing to our newsletter for updates.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup is available at our Sawyer store. Simply choose “Local Pickup” at checkout, and we’ll notify you when your order is ready.
Do you ship nationwide?
We currently ship within the continental United States. Orders are carefully packaged using sustainable materials whenever possible and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Tracking information will be sent once your order leaves our shop.
Can I return or exchange an item?
We accept returns on most unused items within 14 days of delivery. Because many of our pieces are handmade or one-of-a-kind, some exclusions apply. Vintage, apothecary, and pantry goods are final sale. Please visit our Policies page for full details.
Do you carry local or handmade goods?
Yes. We work closely with independent artists, ceramicists, and small makers from Michigan and beyond. Many of our products are handmade, designed in small studios, or crafted using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift cards?
Yes. Gift wrapping is available upon request, and digital gift cards can be purchased online for any amount — perfect for housewarmings, weddings, or thoughtful gestures.
Why the name “Sojourn”?
“Sojourn” means a temporary stay — a pause between places. The name reflects our belief that home is not fixed, but continually shaped by the things we live with and love. Each object in our shop carries a sense of place, story, and time.
