Tracie Hervy is a ceramicist based in Long Island City, Queens, New York, who creates hand-thrown vessels that examine the relationship between form and utility. Drawing inspiration from the shapes and lines of prehistoric vessels, she embraces the touch of the human hand, stripping away all excess to reveal the pure essence of everyday objects.
