Chris approaches clay with an expansive and highly skilled practice, incorporating wheel throwing, coil building, slab construction, hand carving, and sculpting to create one-of-a-kind vessels.
Each piece moves through an intuitive process — often beginning as a drawing in his pocket-sized sketchbook before taking shape in clay.
Each Emberken vase has an architectural presence that can be styled or stand alone as a work of art— offering a material richness and individuality that brings depth and character to any space.
