Jess Feury is a textile artist based in Berkeley, California. Her handwoven “rock slab” pillows, named after the organic patterns found in the natural landscapes of California, draw from craft traditions, using hand-dyed and antique metal fibers combined with unorthodox folk weaving techniques.
Jess allows the process of each piece to lead— one decision informing the next. Sewn together with a pure linen backing and down insert, the result is something that feels both timeless and entirely unique, guided as much by instinct as intention.
