Sheldon Ceramics
Sheldon Ceramics is a ceramics studio in downtown Los Angeles founded by Peter Sheldon. Every piece is rendered by hand on a wheel in effort to draw out shapes in space and articulate form that is both functional and beautiful. Sheldon formulates each glaze using discrete processes and ingredients to create truly unique color and texture. The influence of Japanese refinement, Southeast Asian utilitarianism, European decor, Mexican tactility can all be seen in his work with utmost reverence and respect for those who have come before in the ceramic tradition.
